All of Us God's Children words and music by Bill Pere
(written for the Special Olympics World Games)

There's a candle burning inside of each of us
A spark of desire that can set the world aglow...
Telling us, reach higher, reach as far as we can go
When we see it shining in each heart, we know...

That we're all of us God's children,
Each have our special place
Try to be the best that we can be...
If we strive to reach and touch stars or just finish the race
We're all of us God's children (All of us God's Children)
We're all of us God's children wrapped in one embrace

We each have a path to walk, a hill to climb
When we stand at the summit, we all see the same sun...
We can learn from it, that before a game's begun
If we're standing proudly at the start, we've won...

And we're all of us God's children,
Each have our special place
Try to be the best that we can be...
If we strive to reach and touch stars or just finish the race
We're all of us God's children (All of us God's Children)
We're all of us God's children wrapped in one embrace
